Hi there, I’m hanging out in Alberta Park with a very small group of people who have come out to this last-minute action Police cars are circling. Let’s see how tonight goes

#PortlandProtest#PortlandProtesters#BlackLivesMatter#PortlandRiots#DefendPDX#PoliceBrutality#ACAB

This person, who is definitely not a cop, has been hanging out at this very normal minivan for as long as I’ve been here

Extremely inconspicuous

@R3volutionDaddy and @PhrenologyPhun are out here. Also someone from AP News. That surreality again. The national eye’s gaze flickers. But this is an ocean, the violence comes in waves

Full moon tonight. Beautiful

Today I am rocking body armor from a good friend in Austin, TX. 26 layers of kevlar blanket wrapped in novelty Doge tape inside a carrier vest from Afghanistan. Should be roughly IIIA

It was made with love, which has a power of its own

(My IV plates should arrive tomorrow)

Maybe 30 people here. Enough for a KGW article apparently

Discussions of whether or not this is some kind of trap. I’m sticking around for now

This terrible footage does a terrible job of showing a woman in a cut-off black shirt and the not-a-cop pictures earlier getting out of their Outback and walking into the park

They see me filming and do not join

They circle the protest and then get back in the Outback. Chilling again. I super do not like this

The tiny protest discusses whether or not to march. People feel unsafe. Everyone feels wrong here It is harder than usual not to weigh in

A decision has been reached and I think it’s the right one. The protest will move to a different location. With a group this small it’s hard to know if that’s gonna happen, but stay tuned

Friends I am home. The Justice Center is empty. There are weird reports of chud sightings all over the Internet. This is a bad risk and I’m calling it a night

Solidarity to everyone still out here, but also I recommend finding a way NOT to be out here, goodnight
